Exhibit Sales Manager
Trade show management company located in Fairfield County, Connecticut is searching for a seasoned exhibit sales professional with 2+ years of related experience. Responsibilities include: telephone sales, in-person sales and developing new prospects. Requirements include: 4 year degree, ability to travel, proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Compensation package includes base salary of mid $50,000 to $60,000 plus commissions and incentives of an additional $15,000 - $20,000.

Show Director – Midwest Location
Job Description
As a Show Director you will be responsible for the financial success and strategic health of assigned events. You will be the primary contact with association partners, foster and maintain relationships with key accounts and industry stakeholders and lead an event team. A track record of understanding customer need and developing solutions to provide ROI is important. You will develop and managing show budgets, driving top line revenues and controlling expenses. Working with your team, you will oversee all aspects of your events including sales, marketing, content development, conference, special events, operational logistics and registration. As the team leader, you will also set the tone, motivate and support the group in this flat organizational environment. The position reports directly to the VP of Resource Plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver budgeted revenues and profit on assigned shows
- Maintain high industry awareness; trends, customer relationships, distribution and competitive issues
- Develop and implement strategic plan
- Manage and forecast budgets throughout the event cycle
- Manage show floor plan
- Work with industry associations and publications to garner support
- Help to uncover and develop new events
- Understand, practice and promote our Mission and Values so that it becomes an intricate part of the everyday operation.
- Completes other duties or projects assigned Required Job Knowledge and Skills
- Sales and/or Marketing background
- Excellent Organizational and planning skills, able to anticipate needs and problems
- Ability to work on multiple projects and events in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: able to communicate effectively across all management levels and with clients / vendors
- Budgeting and financial understanding is required
- Ability to translate client needs into well written business and event plans.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field
- Design/build and construction market knowledge preferred
- Interest in Hunting and Outdoor Sports a plus
Compensation
Annual salary range is $70k - $90k depending on experience
